This course provides an introduction to carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). Learners are provided with a foundational understanding of the importance of CCUS in the context of climate change and current net zero greenhouse gas emissions targets.
The course explains the key characteristics of CO2, compares carbon capture and storage methods and their viability and shortcomings, and looks at possible uses for captured carbon. Current research is also explored and reveals projected opportunities in CCUS over the next five years.
