Jiva Consulting is proud to announce a new partnership with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT); one that strengthens the connection between education and industry.
Through this collaboration, we are creating opportunities that build upon SAIT's track record on industry-relevant learning, and Jiva’s strength in translating complex technical, regulatory, and market realities into clear, practical learning that builds lasting infrastructure resilience through people and capability, ensuring that students and industry, and ultimately our communities, all benefit from the opportunities we build together. We are proud to be part of building something that lasts.
“Students will gain applied knowledge and skills, while industry benefits from individuals that continue to grow and develop as practitioners, as well as from collaborative initiatives that help address real challenges in the workplace. Together, we’re strengthening our workforce and investing in the future of our communities.” – Reena Sahney, President, Jiva Consulting.
As part of this partnership, SAIT will be offering the Jiva developed “Responding to Unauthorized Activities” course. Built through a joint industry project between operating companies (SaskEnergy, TC Energy, and FortisBC), this course discusses key concepts related to third-party activities and their associated risks to underground infrastructure. Students will come away with a clear, consistent understanding of how to recognize and respond to unauthorized activities in a way that supports safe operations, reduces risk, and strengthens regulatory compliance.
You can learn more about the course here.
Thank you to Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), SAIT Continuing Education and Professional Studies, for making this collaboration a reality. We look forward to partnering with you on additional course offerings.
